Storage
The best and easiest way to store this base is to place it into a glass jar and vacuum seal the lid so there is no air. This allows the base to stay shelf stable for years. If you don’t have a vacuum sealer just store.

Cold Soak Tomato Cucumber Basil Couscous Meal In A Jar
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup couscous
- 1/2 tsp broth powder Chicken or Beef
- 1/2 tsp freeze dried thrive life onion
- 1 tsp freeze dried thrive life cucumber dices
- 1 tbsp freeze dried thrive life tomato dices
- 1 tsp freeze dried kale
- 1/2 tsp freeze dried butter powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp basil
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- Add all ingredients in small single serving jar. Store on shelf with an oxygen absorber.
- When ready to eat remove oxygen absorber and add 1/3 cup of cold water plus 2 tablespoons. Fluff with fork to incorporate ingredients then cover with lid and wait 25 min. After 25 min add 2 more tablespoons of cold water and re fluff. Cover and wait another 30-40 min. Fluff with fork and enjoy!
